Manovrare un catamarano è diverso rispetto ad una barca a vela per cui per imparare ad ormeggiare un catamarano è consigliabile effettuare un corso specifico. Imparerai ad utilizzare nel modo migliore i due motori e a gestire l’equipaggio in manovra affinchè possa essere un vero aiuto durante le varie manovre di ormeggio.

The Elan 37 Hindsight made a good recovery after a slow start to chase down the J109 Going to Red a couple of minutes into the racing out of the Quoile Yacht Club. Hindsight gybe shortly after this to split the course with the rest of the fleet, this turned out be a smart move as they headed for the counter tide on the Portaferry shore of Strangford lough. They did not look great early as the rest of the fleet stayed high and in pressure, as the leg went on it became clear that they would lead at the Bottom Mark. Hindsight stretched out to a lead by over over two minutes, GTR fort hard on the next beat to chase the leader down, going on to win the race. The team at bottom up boats hope you are enjoying these short clips of racing action from the 2024 season.
