OCEAN BREEZE is a second generation Volvo Open 70, started in 2008 as TELEFONICA BLUE, designed by the Farr office and built by King Marine. She entered the following edition of the VO-race as SANYA LAN. Now she is ready for race-charters, incentives and corporate sailing. After a big overhaul and a brand new set of sails she is stored in a heated boat shed 30 minutes from Schiphol, Amsterdam in the Netherlands. Ready for new adventures. To maximise our time in the air we opted for a carefully timed run from Bankstown Airport which worked to perfection! Unfortunately our flight was somewhat curtailed after an early recall due to thunderstorm activity in the area of Bankstown Airport. What a different take on the race this year, with an east sou'easterly breeze scattering the fleet to all corners as soon as they left the harbour. More to come over the next few days.
