It's been announced that the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit is in Trinidad and Tobago this week for coordinated operations with the Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force, explaining the helicopters flying over Chaguaramas yesterday. One of the listed locations for the exercises is Teteron Barracks, a military Trinidadian base right near the shipyards where many foreign sailing vessels are stored, including ours. For context, this area is located approximately 13.5 miles from Venezuela. The U.S. Embassy in Port of Spain said the training is aimed at tackling transnational threats, strengthening regional stability, and improving disaster-response capabilities. Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force officials added that the exercises support their efforts to reduce the flow of guns and drugs into Trinidad and Tobago.
There is a moment when structure becomes freedom. When months of precision, craftsmanship, and dedication rise from the shipyard and meet the open sea. The CONTOY 70 CATAMARAN is not just about luxury. -It’s about presence. -It’s about confidence. -It’s about building something that will endure. Black. Bold. Uncompromising. This is not simply a catamaran. It’s a statement of how it should be built. Engineered to last. Ready to sail. Video by: Cancun Sailing @cancunsailing677

Witnessing pygmy blue whales at sea is an extraordinary moment we had during our trip to Banda Sea. Calm, humbling, and deeply memorable, it’s one of the ocean’s rarest encounters. #Jakare #JakareLiveaboard #Phinisi #Cruise #WhaleWatching #RareWildlife #OceanGiants #IndonesiaSeas
