Before sailing to BVIs and San Juan on my friend's boat, we put my dinghy on the deck and outboard stored away. Two of us did that but when I got back, it was just me to put it back in the water. The time lapse misses some of the bug wind gusts that made the dinghy hard to manage. Getting the dinghy in the water wasn't so bad but the outboard was tough. It's pretty heavy and we stored it in an awkward spot for one person to get it out. But everything worked out in the end.

KAIROS is a performance cruising trimaran designed for speed, offshore capability and life beyond the conventional cruising route. Created by Independent Catamaran, KAIROS combines the efficiency and stability of a modern trimaran platform with owner-driven architecture, lightweight thinking and a clear focus on long-distance performance. Its purpose is not speed for its own sake. It is the ability to cover greater distances, respond to changing conditions and give the owner more freedom in how — and where — the yacht is used. Clean architecture. Low weight. Offshore capability. Performance with purpose. KAIROS represents a different approach to the modern cruising multihull — designed for owners who believe performance should increase freedom, not complexity. Discover KAIROS.
