Here is the port helm station on our boat. The removable helm window allows you to see completely through the boat when removed as well as have access to our chart plotter. In heavy weather or rain we keep the helm window in place but can still see the chart plotter through it and access it easily around the corner through the doorway. Having @bandgsailing electronics onboard have been a game changer for us compared to our minimal electronics on Adrenaline. Being able to see our true and apparent wind data and even set the autopilot to steer to the wind angle rather than a compass heading has made our sailing way more efficient. All our control lines our led to the cockpit as well so there really is not much reason to have to leave the cockpit in rough conditions. he winds at the start of our 300nm passage to Corsica across the Tyrrhenian Sea in May this year were so light that as we drifted along under the big pink (our asymmetrical spinnaker) our thoughts turned to pasta and in particular the merits of macaretti and who had the lips to deal with such pasta. #boatlife #sailing #sailinglife #medsailing #bluewatersailboat #liveaboardsailboat #sailaroundtheworld #lifeonaboat #followintrepidbear #pasta #lightwind
