We popped over to see our friends at Learn2Sail Portugal this week to see the Broadblue 346 in action. The Algarve is an amazing sailing ground and it’s great that Audrey II is used in their sail training programme. Sunshine and sailing; what could be better? Ci svegliamo presto per correre a fare gasolio. Un’altra cosa che ci manca dei Caraibi sono i prezzi del gasolio. Pensate che in Repubblica Dominicana pagammo meno di un € al litro. Guardando i litri correre, per abitudine, pensavamo fossero i dollari. Invece no. Ecco, questo è un ricordo lontano e oggi lo viviamo con intensa nostalgia😅 A parte gli scherzi. Riempiamo per bene la panciona di Julia e molliamo gli ormeggi. È mattina, il sole è caldo e il vento è poco. Issiamo randa, issiamo Genoa. Tanta speranza, pochi risultati, il vento questa mattina preferisce restare a dormire.. chissà se ha fatto bagordi da qualche parte stanotte! Durante la navigazione scorgiamo un puntino lontano avvicinarsi e venirci incontro. Dopo poco, ci rendiamo conto che è @navegarcontomas ! Anche lui sta facendo la nostra stessa rotta con direzione Baleari e poi Sardegna. Sicuramente i nostri percorsi si riincroceranno da qui a breve ☺️ Passiamo la maggior parte della giornata al computer tra call e operatività. Una sessione di allenamento per tutti e due e poi cena con film, la nostra preferita per rilassarci e ritrovare un po’ un “divano e film” in mezzo al mare. Notte serena, notte di stelle, notte di pensieri che scaldano la pelle. Stiamo rientrando verso casa.
