Here's a short video of the Broadblue Rapier 550 catamaran, shot on a trip from Chichester Harbour to Lymington. Tide against all the way, but we had 15 knots of breeze and an average speed of 8 knots. Lovely weather and easy to handle with just two aboard, although we had three on this trip. Great sail in the sunshine.

We wanted to do ocean passage on the Rapier 550 'Blue Wonder" catamaran so we decided to join in with the ARC (Atlantic Rally for Cruisers) in November 2021. We left from Gran Canaria and sailed direct to St Lucia. We loved the trip and it gave us some useful insights into the Rapier's speed vs comfort. Safety at sea; a multihull has compartments with the boat (a legal requirement) that brings buoyancy.
