We popped over to see our friends at Learn2Sail Portugal this week to see the Broadblue 346 in action. The Algarve is an amazing sailing ground and it’s great that Audrey II is used in their sail training programme. Sunshine and sailing; what could be better? Here's a link to our friends catamaran course. It's also a great way to test sail a catamaran if you are thinking of buying one in the near future. https://www.learn2sail.com/our_broad_blue_catamaran.php If you are loving the look of our Broadblue 346, take a more detailed look here: https://www.broadblue.com/cruising-catamarans/broadblue-346 You can also discover more about our Broadblue and Rapier Catamarans on our other channels: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/broadbluecats/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/broadblue_c... All of the 500m World Speed Sailing Records that have been set since 1988. Paul Larsen on Sail Rocket 2 still holds the record at an average of 65.45 kts over half a kilometre, but there are a couple of teams that are challenging for the honours. The current target? 80 knots. ▫️ Do you think they can do it? Which do you think was the most impressive record breaker? ▫️ Was it Paul Larsen smashing the previous record by almost 10 knots? Or maybe Alain Thébault, the first guy over 50 knots? All of these guys must have nerves of steel. Or they're crazy. ▫️ #world #speed #sailing #record #nerves
