My galley make over has been slowly happening over the last few months, from a brand new kitchen floor to a new table top and a new benchtop. I tiled a mosaic backsplash behind the sink, and for anyone telling me not to tile my boat, hey it looks epic so please be quiet! :) Thank you! But the actual questions: was it a good idea installing a mixer tap in the kitchen? Yes and no! It is great to have hot water, to be able to clean my dishes properly and what not, but on the other hand having a proper tap means I use a lot more water! And on a boat fresh water is sacred. I don't have a water maker. I am very aware of how much water I use, but if I have guest over and they turn the tap on and the water runs, it always gives me an anxious feeling. Switch back to a foot pump and cold water? I don't think so, but I am tempted to install a saltwater pump to rinse off dishes etc... Let me know what you guys would do! IG:yvonnemarianna.travels

We hope you enjoy this mini-preview of the upcoming 2-Part video with a full walkthrough of this vessel. For pricing and additional pictures, please follow this link: https://www.catamarans.com/used-sail-catamaran-for-sale/2019-privilege-series-5/wild-rose-ii/178480 In the meantime, let us tell you a little bit of why we like this boat so much: The Privilege Series 5, is a luxury long-distance cruiser that has made a name for itself thanks to its quality build and finishes. These boats are a real step up from other cruising catamarans which is why we have included them in our Luxury Catamarans sections. There is an associated jump in the price of course. This boat has been well thought out with wide, easy-to-navigate side decks and plenty of handholds. and you can tell very quickly that she was designed for long passages. The helm, engine controls, instruments, and electric sheet winches are all around the raised helm station that should make her easy to sail with a short-handed crew. Visibility is good all-around from the elevated helm position on the port side. The hulls, deck, cabin top, and bimini are foam-cored and resin-infused, and to reduce weight, furniture and bulkheads are made with foam-cored maple laminates. The quality of the joinery finish is a real step up from less expensive boats, as you would expect. Contact Brent Hermann at brent@catamarans.com or (954) 224-7637
