The Social Dreaming Matrix is a space where participants share their night dreams, as well as free associations emerging from those dreams. Through the offering of recent or past dreams, participants form free associations linked to personal experience or coming from films, literature or any other cultural or social objects. The aim is to expand the narrative introduced by the dreamtelling without seeking to close it. During the SDM participant form what is called a Matrix, and they avoid making any interpretations or formulations (i.e. asking questions) letting instead the dream space flow. In this context dreams tell nothing about the dreamer, they form a pattern that circulates in the matrix, thus enabling the capacity to “be alone in the presence of others”. After the dream sharing, the collective examine the content that emerged and attempt to reflect on possible meaning this information holds for individuals and members of a larger collective. ORIGIN OF SOCIAL DREAMING Gordon Lawrence has worked with SD since 1982. His discovery was rather fortuitous, emerging from a series of experiences working with groups at the Tavistock Institute in London, and later in other settings that provided him with more freedom of action.

Yesterday as well as last night was a tricky 24 hrs for Conrad, who has been making slow progress due to a high pressure that appeared in his path. To distract himself and calm his nerves down, he’s made for us a fun advertisement out at sea. YES! We really did bury something on this island for you to find. ARRRRGH Delos Tribe!!! There be a PIRATES BOOTY on this here secret island!!! We know ‘cause we buried it…. The clues below will lead you to the treasure, but be warned the path is riddled with reefs and not for the faint of heart!!! Scoundrels & Scallywags were upon us closing in from all corners of the seven seas. We had to lighten our load and make a hasty escape, so we buried our precious Delos Pirate Booty on the unknown islet and now we’re calling upon the Delos Tribe to find the loot. In the video be the treasure map and may the riddle below help you on your quest to riches. “At the Union between the holy men Vincent & George you will find the Key to a low lying pirate island of palms at the Worlds End, where legend says Sparrows & turtles play Horseshoes in the Reef. There you must look to the east for the teenage tree in a parade of palms. At it’s base you will find Neptunes trumpet guarding the buried treasure you seek.” There you will find a bountiful booty of treasure that would make even the wealthiest of privateers…..moist. If ye find the treasure, take a piece of booty, and a swig of the captains grog, but return the rest. Otherwise Davy Jones will come a calling!
