In this video we show the condition of the bulkheads on a Seaway 25 after 44 years and the dangers of not checking them. This Seaway like many over the years had its Port bulkhead which was a 1/2 bulkhead that connected to the centreboard case to support it, removed to allow easier access internally. We are refitting it as it was designed and built in 1980. All the woodwork is done by Frechevile Heeney Boatbuilders in Paynesville Victoria. #seaway25 #woodwork #boatbuilding

This has existed in various forms on several hulls. What is shown is this video is from “Umbono”, hull 20. It is very sleek and blend in with the lines of the solar arch shown earlier.
