Sailing 800 miles upwind to the Caribbean might have been our best passage ever! Normally right on the nose we had a light wind close reach/close hauled passage just before Christmas when we sailed from the Bahamas direct to St Martin. This video shows how the Yanmar engine options looks in the engine bay. We are going with the 37 HP Nanni engine in Mira. We are doing this because it is about 100 lbs lighter, much simpler and, as per James, outperforms the Yanmar option. More to come on the Nanni option.
