Sailing 800 miles upwind to the Caribbean might have been our best passage ever! Normally right on the nose we had a light wind close reach/close hauled passage just before Christmas when we sailed from the Bahamas direct to St Martin. whilst we are enjoying the salty life of Padstow we have developed a severe addiction to this bakery. The Skipper swears by the Lemon & raspberry danish pastries! The baker prepares them fresh every morning and we time it to arrive at about 8:10 am when the window display is full. Send help!

On Monday 16th Oct 2017 Hurricane Ophelia moved up the West coast of Ireland creating storm force winds on across the Irish Sea and the East coast. Hopefully the storm pass without further damage to boats.
