We recently navigated the uncharted Kinabatangan River, aka 560 km of wild, winding waterways home to monkeys, elephants and other rare and endangered wildlife. The surface looks calm, but at night, those glowing eyes of giant crocs in the torchlight remind you who really owns this place... very splash had our crew looking twice! A sailing couple with a great YouTube channel sails off on an Atlantic Crossing to Portugal on their 42 foot Gib’sea ketch cruising sailboat and is lost at sea. A rescue begins and the boat is never found until they wash ashore on Sable Island in a life raft. This electric powered sailboat may not have had an EPIRB and is never found.
