We’ve officially hauled Sabado out of the water at Port Whangarei Marine Center in New Zealand, and the refit has begun! In our latest video, we take you through a day in our new routine: starting the morning at our rental house, commuting to the boatyard, and diving into our first big boat projects. We kick things off by tearing apart our bed to prep for a major power system upgrade. We also give you a tour of the yard facilities, and remove our cockpit fridge to make way for a new one. It’s a strange feeling seeing the boat on land with empty cabinets, but we’re excited (and a little nervous) about what’s ahead. At the south of Mallorca, Porto Cristo we went at anchor. Already in March, the prices to stay at marina's here are very high. But in the marina we saw a silver large catamaran. It belongs to tennisplayer Rafael Nadal, who accomodates his motorboat here. Our boat is 42 ft, so it fits twice into this Sunreef! The ship is called 'Great White' and has costs 8 millon euro's. The interior inside is luxurious, with a table tennis table (of course!) and a garage below with jetski's and seabobs. We took our dingue and admired Rafa's boat!
