Over the past year I've been going shopping every week at the Central Market in Port of Spain. It's a fantastic local market with a huge range of quality seafood, meat, herbs, vegetables and fruit. In that time I've made connections with some of the local vendors who I really enjoy seeing each week. This week one market vendor kindly gifted me a Trinidadian cook book! I was not expecting such a heartfelt gift and really appreciated the kind gesture - now I just need to figure out which recipe to make first! ______________________________________________ After backpacking Asia, road tripping Europe and doing a bit of van life, we’re now exploring the world aboard our Leopard 45 catamaran. 🎶 Music from Artlist ➼ Get yourself 2 months free with a subscription https://artlist.io/Telicia-1577425 #travelvlog #travel #caribbean #localcuisine #trinidadandtobago #foodshorts #recipe

In the end, the general success of this transatlantic -supervised rally and the ever more pressing demand from owners of catamarans and trimarans led the World Cruising Club to organize a second rally – the ARC + –, then a third – the ARC January. As a result, since the pressure on marinas has subsided, there have been more multihulls every year: there were 33 at the start of the ARC "historic canal" in 2022, 37 last year and 44 this year - we have them found in Saint Lucia in the Rodney Bay marina! ► Become a FREE SUBSCRIBER to Multihulls World's YouTube page now - https://www.youtube.com/c/MultihullsWorld ► Log on to our website to discover over 500 multihulls tests! The construction of the Tower began in 1173. Originally designed to be a bell tower, it stood upright for over 5 years, but when the third floorwas completed in 1178 it began to lean. Italians were shocked by the event, as the tower began to lean ever so slightly. The thing is the foundation of the tower, which is only 3-meter deep, was built on a dense clay mixture. This mix impacted the soil and furthermore the clay was not strong enough to hold the tower upright. As a result the weight of the tower began to diffuse downward until it had found the weakest point. Due to this problem, construction works stopped for 100 years. The government decided to focus on its war with Genoa and hope that the soil would settle in the meantime.
