Our #sailing adventure in #newyork was a unique and challenging experience. Aside from being a bustling #harbour with much marine traffic, the harbour is affected by tidal currents—two floods and two ebbs every day. Learning the current patterns to plan your sail into the harbour is essential, especially if you want to sail up the East River and into the Long Island Sound. The new J/7 daysailer testing new A2 spinnaker sailing on Lake Wallersee, Austria. It was blowing 20+ knots and boatspeed was 10-11 knots planing across the lake quite easily!
