Hi!👋🏻 We're Ed & Paige. We met in 2011, and in 2014 Ed completed an 18 month circumnavigation with his father (I got to tag along for most of the Pacific🙌🏻). Following his return we knew we would do whatever it took to get back on the water, this time in our own boat, together. After nearly 5 years of planning, saving, and questioning our sanity, we quit our jobs in 2019 and sold most of our non-essential/non-heartfelt belongings. We've decided to spend the next few years dedicating ourselves to travel and adventure while living aboard our 37 foot home, Sea Pearl. If you'd like to join us while we work to get our new home offshore ready and to see what we get up to on our future sailing adventures - like, subscribe, and follow along. We'd love to have you! - Cheers!🍻 Paige & Ed Follow along on Instagram: http://www.instagram.com/sailing.seapearl __________________________________________________________ #sailboat #sailing #sailboatrefit #liveaboards #buyaboat #oceantravel #sailingcouple #diy #boatprojects #fulltimetravel

The long anticipated premier of the first two MC31s to hit the water played out in today’s passage race between Melbourne and Geelong for the start of the Geelong Festival of Sails. With John Taylor’s Vindaloo and Rohan Veal’s 38 South Racing sailing their respective boats quite literally ‘straight out of the box’ – Rohan’s sails arrived in Melbourne this morning – both skippers were delighted with their first outing, and are looking forward to using their kites tomorrow, after an upwind race today.

In early October, our skipper traveled to Grenada to tour our new boat, a 2008 Knysna 440. It was love at first sight. This bluewater catamaran was built in South Africa, and she is fully loaded and ready to sail. This is the trailer for our new Youtube channel. As we pack up and prepare to move aboard, we will be filming and eventually sharing it all with you. So stick around and experience Sailing Life on Mars. Lots of distance and drama for the GUNBOAT and Multihull Fleet today. Two long distance race courses sent the catamarans out of Narragansett Bay into the Rhode Island Sound, and the start of the Race 2 sent two race boats, Arethusa, and Tribe, to the Newport Shipyard with significant damage to their hulls. #nyycrwan #newportri #gunboat #nyyc #multihull #crash Discover Newport Coverage: Degan Media
