Hi!👋🏻 We're Ed & Paige. We met in 2011, and in 2014 Ed completed an 18 month circumnavigation with his father (I got to tag along for most of the Pacific🙌🏻). Following his return we knew we would do whatever it took to get back on the water, this time in our own boat, together. After nearly 5 years of planning, saving, and questioning our sanity, we quit our jobs in 2019 and sold most of our non-essential/non-heartfelt belongings. We've decided to spend the next few years dedicating ourselves to travel and adventure while living aboard our 37 foot home, Sea Pearl. J109 Going to Red was tacking in close quarters to the shore shortly after the start of the harbour race of Volvo Cork week 2024. With the tide rushing into Cork Harbour it paid to stick to the right to get relief from the in rushing tide. There are a couple of close crosses as the majority of the fleet tried to maximise the relief they got.
