Our dinghy is finished. Valerie spent hours sanding off the old glue. And then every seam went at once. That's the point where repairing stops making sense. So for two months now: the kayak. Every shop run, every water canister, every walk for the dog. Fifteen minutes each way. Some days the bay is glass. Some days it's a fairground ride with the shopping in the front. Budhi has his own life jacket and very firm opinions about the whole arrangement. Fifteen minutes to buy bread. And to get here.
