From last winter when we prepered for the winter, this year is another story. When we bought the boat, it came with some nice covers for all the hatches. We’ve used them a lot, and it’s a good thing this is the last winter we’ll need them, because they’re just about worn out 🤗🌍⛵️ #shortoftheday #sailing #sailboat #winter #diy

We use our dinghy anchor mostly to keep our dinghy from hitting the dock when there is a swell. What we do is tie the dinghy to the dock, shoot the dinghy anchor off the back, and then pull the anchor line tight enough so that the dinghy doesn’t hit the dock. After we came back to a popped dinghy in Mustique, we learned that it’s best to use an anchor!
