This fine example of the Iconic Island runner has lived in the dry stack at Lions Bay Marina. Howe Sound Marine has been servicing the 5.7 GXi volvo engine which has only 718 hours on it and has a remote racor fuel filter. The canvas has the custom drop curtain back and is in great shape. The full length swim grid has a custom teak top, with a swim ladder attached to it. Boarding is a breeze with the step tread on the gunwhale and the fold down steps on both sides. The cockpit deck is self bailing and comes with a raw water wash down. There is 30 amp shore power with AC outlets. It has the sink-storage cabinet upgrade. I wanted to show you exactly how a boat anchor behaves on the sea floor. I found a nice popular anchorage where the tide had gone out, exposing the same sandy bottom that the boats in the distance are anchoring in, so we can see exactly what is going on, without the sea being in the way. If you measure the distance from the bow roller to the seabed at high tide, and pay out at least five times that much chain, which is known as 5:1 scope, the anchor should untangle itself and reset in most situations.
