Lots and lots of car bog and lots of sanding to round the edges to make the fiberglass stick. So here we go, obviously the first batch of bog I mixed up went hard straight away and I only used maybe half of it. I totally underestimated how quick that stuff goes off... Small batches it is :) I am still a bit nervous when I think about the fiberglassing, I have never done it and I really want to do a good job, I want it to neat! Ron answers a common question we get from sailors. Is it possible to get the required measurements for us to make really good sails when your mast isn't even up? Yes, it is entirely possible. We made a blog and video getting excellent measurements for a headsail and mainsail while your mast is down. Check out the instructional videos and blogs below. https://www.precisionsailloft.com/blog/measuring-for-new-sails-mainsail-with-the-mast-down/ https://www.precisionsailloft.com/blog/measuring-for-new-sails-headsail-with-the-mast-down/ If you have any questions give us a call at 1-888-958-5638 or email: info@precisionsailloft.com
