Introducing the LMF 22 which was launched at the beginning of the summer for buoy and waterway maintenance operations in the lakes of Maine. Despite it's relatively small size, the boat routinely carries a cargo of 2500lbs consisting of buoys, anchors, and chain. The buoys and gear are worked via a davit at the side hull cutout. A bow thruster was also installed to help keep the boat on station. While bringing our new Zuri, a Lagoon 450 Sport Top home from her birthplace in France, we set sail on a leg from Caicos on the way to Georgetown in the Bahamas. We had some escorts playing in our bow wave. The sail plan is main and genoa, going a comfortable 10.2 Knots in about 12-15 Knots of wind. It's a little rough out, but we are having a blast!
