Introducing the LMF 22 which was launched at the beginning of the summer for buoy and waterway maintenance operations in the lakes of Maine. Despite it's relatively small size, the boat routinely carries a cargo of 2500lbs consisting of buoys, anchors, and chain. The buoys and gear are worked via a davit at the side hull cutout. A bow thruster was also installed to help keep the boat on station. What a treat for our passengers on board Poseidon this afternoon, who had a juvenile (3-4 years) Humpback whale come and join the fun at Helms Deep! The crew kept the passengers who were already in the water in a tight group as the extremely curious Humpback made around 20 passes in a 20 minute period. What an absolute treat for our passengers!
