Introducing the LMF 22 which was launched at the beginning of the summer for buoy and waterway maintenance operations in the lakes of Maine. Despite it's relatively small size, the boat routinely carries a cargo of 2500lbs consisting of buoys, anchors, and chain. The buoys and gear are worked via a davit at the side hull cutout. A bow thruster was also installed to help keep the boat on station. Powered by twin Yamaha SHO 115's, this boat sees a 40 knot top end speed. -Designed by Response Marine -Video by Camden Spear. #boatbuilding #maine #boat

Thinking about using a yacht for your business and want to know about tax breaks? Section 179 lets you deduct part of the cost upfront, but only if the yacht is truly for business (To qualify you must prove Active Participation and Ability & Intent to make a profit) and there are spending limits. Bonus depreciation offers even bigger deductions. Remember, the IRS is strict, so consult a tax pro specializing in yacht businesses.
