A three stateroom, two head layout and one of the most spacious layouts of any boat in its class. An open concept main deck layout provided by fully opening glass doors that blend the cockpit into the galley and further into the main salon giving the perception of a space found on a much larger yacht. Some of the most unique features of this Carver C50 is the separate entrance to the full beam master at the aft end opposite the galley. Another one of the many unique features that will set the C50 apart form any other yacht in this size range is the optional day head on the main deck. She will also feature a spacious flybridge layout and a truly usable foredeck seating area. This Carver C50 will have a standard engine package with twin Cummins 6.7L 480HP diesels providing a top end of 28 knots. Optional Cummins 6.7L 600HP will have a top speed of 33 knots and that largest engine package, the Cummins QSM11 715HP will have a top speed of 36-37 knots.

Today I sailed home my new to me 1972 Bristol Carvel 22. I purchased for a great deal on eBay, if I told you how much you wouldn’t believe me so don’t even ask . Let’s just stay. It was an awesome deal. So I purchased her without ever looking at the cabin. I saw her from the shoreline, and I fell in love with this vintage sailboat. Now it’s time to start the motor for the very first time and head down the channel in East Greenwich Bay. Then it’s off to Narraganset Bay towards her new slip.
