Schön, dass du hier bist! Wir, Emely und Tjark, haben uns den Traum vom eigenen Segelboot erfüllt, eine Maxi84, relativ spontan und ohne das ganz große Geld. Das Boot müssen wir noch umtaufen auf den Namen Meera. Wir nehmen dich mit auf unsere Reise von blutigen Anfängern zu hoffentlich passablen Seglern. Bevor wir uns in die Wellen stürzen können, liegt noch ein Berg an Arbeit vor uns. Umbauten, Änderungen und vor allem der Sportbootführerschein müssen erledigt werden. Außerdem müssen wir noch lernen richtig zu segeln. Du kannst dich also schon auf die nächsten Videos freuen! 📍If Gypsea Explorer were a human, her sails would be the arms that catch the wind, carrying us through the water. 💨🌊 ✅ We have three sails on our Sceptre 41; a Mainsail, a gib and an asymmetrical spinnaker. They all have different and important functions. 😱 When we went sailing on a little test ride, the Mainsail ripped, so we had to do a quick repair. The fantastic Kelly at Ullman Sails, made us a new Mainsail, and inspected our other sails. The Gib was sent to Bainbridge Island for a good scrubbing.
