It takes it source at the Qu'Appelle Dam on Lake Diefenbaker and flows into the Assiniboine River in Manitoba. It is very curvy. To give you an idea of conversion, 50 km of river was often only the equivalent of 30 km as the crow flies. Although this river is bordered mainly cattle farms, there is a great diversity of wildlife and birds. In addition, the Qu'Appelle River is part of the Great Trail, the Trans Canada Trail for a total distance of 166.73 km from Lumsden to Katepwa Beach. --- Une petite danse pour se réchauffer 😉 Pierre s’exécute sur les abords de la rivière Qu’Appelle en Saskatchewan. For my birthday aboard @HQ2Charters we invited a local friend who also happens to be an AMAZING cook (only beaten by his wife!). After a night of liming he wanted to cook up some Trinidadian Callaloo for our international crew to try, with people there from Australia, the UK, South Africa, Sweden and the Netherlands.
