One of our NSSC Sailability members, Jazz Turner, crossing the finish line at the end of her epic Project FEAR ("face everything and rise") journey. Jazz is terminally ill with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS), and is a full-time wheelchair user. After 28 days sailing around the UK and Ireland single-handed, non-stop and unassisted, Jazz arrived back at Brighton Marina around 13:30 on Monday 30th June 2025. Jazz is raising money for the Newhaven and Seaford Sailing Club (NSSC) Sailability fund. Έχοντας μάθει ιστιοπλοΐα δίπλα στους κορυφαίους προπονητές στην Ελλάδα και βρισκόμενος στο χώρο της διδασκαλίας τα τελευταία 3 χρόνια με την Seven Seas School of Yachting, διαπιστώσαμε οως η μεγαλύτερη έλλειψη δεξιοτήτων βρίσκεται στον χειρισμό του σκάφους μέσα στα λιμάνια και της μαρίνες της Ελλάδας. Το πρακτικό σεμινάριο που πραγματοποιήθηκε είχε πολύ μεγάλη επιτυχία και σύντομα θα ανακοινωθεί το επόμενο για να δηλώσετε συμμετοχή. Ευχαριστώ θερμά τους συμμετέχοντες μαθητές οι οποίοι πραγματικά έδωσαν τον καλύτερο εαυτό τους και απέδειξαν πως πάντα υπάρχει περιθώριο βελτίωσης και μάθησης.
