One of our NSSC Sailability members, Jazz Turner, crossing the finish line at the end of her epic Project FEAR ("face everything and rise") journey. Jazz is terminally ill with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS), and is a full-time wheelchair user. After 28 days sailing around the UK and Ireland single-handed, non-stop and unassisted, Jazz arrived back at Brighton Marina around 13:30 on Monday 30th June 2025. Jazz is raising money for the Newhaven and Seaford Sailing Club (NSSC) Sailability fund. Si l’alizé ne s’est pas montré très vigoureux, réduisant à portion congrue les régates à la voile au profit de convoyages au moteur, la bonne humeur était bien au rendez-vous. L’objectif des Echappées Belles est d’ailleurs avant tout de passer un moment convivial, de s’amuser sur l’eau, de profiter de belles escales tout en rencontrant de nouveaux équipages, de découvrir des spécialités locales et de partager des anecdotes, des histoires de mer. Cette rencontre est également l’occasion de connecter l’équipe du chantier avec celle d’un concessionnaire de la marque et des Propriétaires.
