One of our NSSC Sailability members, Jazz Turner, crossing the finish line at the end of her epic Project FEAR ("face everything and rise") journey. Jazz is terminally ill with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS), and is a full-time wheelchair user. After 28 days sailing around the UK and Ireland single-handed, non-stop and unassisted, Jazz arrived back at Brighton Marina around 13:30 on Monday 30th June 2025. Jazz is raising money for the Newhaven and Seaford Sailing Club (NSSC) Sailability fund. Exploring the Triton Bay named by some as ‘the next frontier of diving.’ Leaving the small port of Kaimana, there is nothing but thick rainforest, gorgeous inlets, and uninhabited beaches, undisturbed by human activity. If you are looking for an adventure and want to explore some of the most remote and unknown areas, this is the place to go. Conservation International only surveyed triton bay in 2006, and there is only one small resort. Vaiatea liveaboard uncovers the top of what is believed one of the most diverse and pristine areas.
