One of our NSSC Sailability members, Jazz Turner, featured on BBC South East Today lunchtime news whilst sailing on her epic Project FEAR ("face everything and rise") journey. She is attempting to become the first female wheelchair user to complete a solo, non-stop, unassisted circumnavigation of the UK and Ireland. Jazz is raising money for the Newhaven and Seaford Sailing Club (NSSC) Sailability fund. CATAMARAN ALESSANDRA is custom made Lagoon Catamaran made for Alessandra Dupont and she claimed her at Les Sables D'olone /France in June@0/2013.She sailed from there to Atlantic coast of FRANCE, SPAIN,PORTUGAL ,PASSED THE BAY OF BISCAYNE WITH SAIL /40 KNOTS/,crossed GIBRALTAR TO MEDETERRANIAN,did all BALEARIC ISLANDS,IBIZA,PALMA DI MAJORCA,MENORCA,CORSICA,SARDINIA,EOLEIES,CROATIA,GREEK ISLANDS,KEKOVA TURKEY then crossed back the GIBRALTAR toLAS PALMAS to do the Christopher Colombous route via Cape VERDE ,Crossed the ATLANTIC TO ST.LUCIA. Celebrated new years Eve in Caribbean .continued ST.MARTIN,ST.BARTS,KITTS and NEVIS,SABA,BVI,PUERTO RICO,ST.THOMAS ,TCI,ALL BAHAMAS and ARRIVED TO FLORIDA. THIS FANTASTC TRIP TOOK 1 YEAR THAT WE CELEBRATED JUN20,2014. WE WILL CONTINUE REPORTING.
