One of our NSSC Sailability members, Jazz Turner, featured on BBC South East Today lunchtime news whilst sailing on her epic Project FEAR ("face everything and rise") journey. She is attempting to become the first female wheelchair user to complete a solo, non-stop, unassisted circumnavigation of the UK and Ireland. Jazz is raising money for the Newhaven and Seaford Sailing Club (NSSC) Sailability fund. Went to go for a swim. Just before jumping in, Nellie showed up. She's very patient. Normally Nurse sharks are relatively gentle. But in The Bahamas they often feed them for the tourists. So some Nurse sharks now associate humans with food, making them much more unpredictable. Still wanna swim? lol
