One of our NSSC Sailability members, Jazz Turner, featured on BBC South East Today lunchtime news whilst sailing on her epic Project FEAR ("face everything and rise") journey. She is attempting to become the first female wheelchair user to complete a solo, non-stop, unassisted circumnavigation of the UK and Ireland. Jazz is raising money for the Newhaven and Seaford Sailing Club (NSSC) Sailability fund. The local fishermen ran out of fuel and couldn’t get back to shore. It by rowing. After a long night of fishing, they were tired. We gave them fuel and they gifted us fish! They were so kind and very grateful. We love these kinds of interactions with the locals!
