This might be the most unforgettable Khao Soi we’ve ever tried… A place built by 9 relatives - each of them a chef, each adding a piece of their soul here. But what stayed with me the most… was watching her. An elderly Thai woman, carefully making the crispy noodles - one of the most important parts of Khao Soi. Every portion - slow, intentional, full of respect. You can literally feel it in the taste. I even got to talk to her… and you just know this is more than food. If you’re in Chiang Mai - this place is a must. Trust me… you’ll want to come back again and again. 📍 If you’re planning a trip to Chiang Mai - save this spot. p.s. 🇫🇷 C'est juste une voile explique Antoine Cornic, "le plus important c'est le mât" qui réagit à sa perte de voile d'hier. Il a retrouvé du soleil et des conditions plus agréables contrairement à hier. 🇬🇧 It's just a sail,” explains Antoine Cornic, ‘the most important thing is the mast’, reacting to his loss of sail yesterday. He's back in the sunshine and in more pleasant conditions than yesterday. ------------------------ ➡️ SUIVEZ-NOUS ! // FOLLOW US ! 🔗 Website : www.vendeeglobe.org 📸 Instagram : https://www.instagram.com/vendeeglobe/ 🐦 Twitter FR : https://twitter.com/VendeeGlobe | Twitter ENG : https://twitter.com/VendeeGlobeENG 🕺 TikTok : https://www.tiktok.com/@vendee_globe 💻 Facebook : https://www.facebook.com/VendeeGlobe 💼 LinkedIn : https://www.linkedin.com/company/vendée-globe/
This video shot by www.droneproject.eu shows tight action at a windward mark during the RC44 Cup in Marstrand, Sweden the first weekend of July 2021. The lead boat RUS 21 shows great down-speed boat handling. She does several quick tacks in succession and luffs around the windward mark, all the while staying in front of the fleet. The question is: did RUS 21 pull off a slick move to round the windward mark first or should she get the flick for breaking a rule. Things to think about: When RUS 10 originally tacked from port to starboard, was she in the zone? Does 18.3 apply RUS 21 got room from RUS 10, was RUS 21 entitled to luff after rounding the mark. Watch the video and draw your own conclusions. The answer is on the UK Sailmakers.com site in the Rules Quiz section. V
