Did you know that National Hispanic Heritage month starts today? So to celebrate my own Hispanic heritage, I bring to you the Paloma, the national drink of Mexico! Yes it’s true! The Paloma - not the margarita - is the national drink of Mexico! How to make a Paloma Ingredients 1.5 ounces tequila 1 ounce lime juice, freshly squeezed 1 ounce grapefruit juice A splash of Jarritos grapefruit soda, chilled Garnish: lime wheel Garnish: tajin rim (optional) Steps Rub a lime wedge around the edge of a highball glass and dip the rim in tajin (optional). Add the tequila, lime juice, and grapefruit juice to the glass, then fill with ice. Top with a splash of chilled Jarritos grapefruit soda and stir gently to combine. Garnish with a lime wheel. Barefoot Hiker making miles on the Appalachian Trail as he summited Greylock and visited the War Memorial on the highest mountain in Massachusetts. Since this video, I've made it to Vermont and the Yellow Deli of Rutland, VT for a rest. I've also gotten a chance to rest several sprains and injuries.
