Did you know that National Hispanic Heritage month starts today? So to celebrate my own Hispanic heritage, I bring to you the Paloma, the national drink of Mexico! Yes it’s true! The Paloma - not the margarita - is the national drink of Mexico! How to make a Paloma Ingredients 1.5 ounces tequila 1 ounce lime juice, freshly squeezed 1 ounce grapefruit juice A splash of Jarritos grapefruit soda, chilled Garnish: lime wheel Garnish: tajin rim (optional) Steps Rub a lime wedge around the edge of a highball glass and dip the rim in tajin (optional). Add the tequila, lime juice, and grapefruit juice to the glass, then fill with ice. Top with a splash of chilled Jarritos grapefruit soda and stir gently to combine. Garnish with a lime wheel. Concept & Introduction: Take a look inside North Sails’ brand new UK sail loft. The loft is based in Gosport, on the southern coast of the UK, and houses a number of global departments under one roof. These include Superyacht finishing and sail production for One Design and North Sails 3Di. As NorthSails’ European flagship facility, the loft enables North Sails to remain at the forefront of sail technology, innovation and manufacturing. Gosport is the first loft in the world to specialise in superyacht sails, and it’s gigantic raised floor – measuring 1,950m2 – is the largest ever built. A team of 9 designers and 82 staff members are aided by state-of-the-art technology and equipment, ensuring sails are delivered quickly, and safely – with no compromises in quality. The space is split into two manufacturing bays, and the main floor is designed to cater to superyacht sail finishing. Measuring 101x30m, the space can accommodate two J-Class headsails and a mainsail laid out simultaneously. The secondary bay is dedicated to One Design sailmaking and Certified Service sail care.
