He it is in the dyke leading to the first boatshed built at Hunter's Yard, in 1932 The skills used at Hunter's Yard are both timeless and endangered, those of building and preserving hand-buit wooden boats of yesteryear. Many of the boats looked after by the yard are nearly a century old, but they still sail as if they were launched last week. 🔍 Did you know? The wetlands restoration project is completed. Hopefully it will fill with water in the spring run-off. The wildlife will thrive here for decades to come. A great legacy. Sass and I are headed back to the boat on Monday or Tuesday now. We’re watching the weather and mountain pass highway conditions. Living on a sailboat content will resume shortly!
