Cure Marine made a splash on the international scene at the recent Annapolis Sailboat Show, where we showcased our new Cure 55 to an enthusiastic audience. The event showcased one of the largest arrays of luxury yachts, catamarans and marine products, all against the picturesque backdrop of historic Annapolis on the Chesapeake Bay. The new Cure 55 received an outstanding reception. Visitors were especially taken with our 3D Virtual Reality tour, which allowed them to navigate the Cure 55's layout and its intelligent design in a captivating manner. We also displayed an assortment of 3D-printed components for non-structural fittings and trims, underscoring our dedication to advanced technology. At Cure Marine, our emphasis has consistently been on quality – the quality of performance, fit and finish, components, and, crucially, craftsmanship. 'Noire', the Bloomfield Custom 70, constructed by Cure Marine and launched in March this year, stands as a testament to this, as do our previous high-performance cruising catamarans and monohulls. LE VENDEE GLOBE, un tour du monde à la voile en solitaire Le Vendée Globe est une course à la voile autour du monde, en solitaire et sans escale. Un tour du monde à la voile, d’Ouest en Est, par les trois grands caps de Bonne Espérance, Leeuwin et Horn. Le point de départ et d'arrivée de la course: Les Sables d’Olonne. Le monocoque StMichel-Virbac construit au chantier Multiplast En avril dernier, Jean-Pierre Dick et ses partenaires annonçaient leur retour en monocoque avec l’objectif de participer aux épreuves du championnat Ocean Masters de 2015 à 2017, avec en point d’orgue le Vendée Globe 2016. StMichel-Virbac, dessiné par Verdier VPLP, sera construit au chantier vannetais Multiplast. It is a fine line between fast and failure when sailing our Mumm 36. If you did not run into a few issues every once in in a while then you were not pushing hard enough. Over the years of sailing this great boat we head a couple of wipe outs going into Chinese Gybes almost took the head of the skipper in several planned gybe and lost a few sailors over the side without ever seeing a crew member go over board. This fast forward set of sailing fails reminds us to have fun while sailing while remembering that safety must come first. Luckily for the crew on Going to Red this set of fast forward sailing fails was all we could find over many seasons of racing, even better that the race wins out numbers the number of fails.
