The final race of the Spring Gozo Regatta was a passage race back to Malta from Mgarr. It was a downwind start for the seventeen strong fleet, enjoying winds blowing from the west at approximately 10 knots.

Extremely high winds hit this morning. The anchors dragged, caught a rusty metal mesh cage. The outboard seemed useless against the winds.
