The Solaris 64 RS (2020, 2.90m keel) exhibits robust sailing characteristics, driven by a stiff hull and twin rudders for stable performance and light helm response. Sail handling is optimized for ease with a self-tacking jib, electric winches, and an optional in-boom furling mainsail, contributing to its 239 m² reference sail area. Propulsion is provided by a VOLVO PENTA D4-180 engine. The interior features a comfortable, open-plan saloon and galley, illuminated by ample natural light, finished in old oak. The well-equipped galley includes substantial refrigeration and specific appliances. Accommodation provides for six guests: two in the forward master cabin and four in two aft twin-bed guest cabins, each with an ensuite.

Il vento continua a soffiare violento e i temporali a susseguirsi uno dopo l’altro. L’instabilità meteorologica pare continuare tutta la settimana. Da lunedì si riaprirà una finestra buona per muoverci verso nord. Diciamo che qui si sta bene. Elettricità senza limiti, Starlink dà il meglio di sè e possiamo concentrarci sul lavoro in modo efficace. Periodo di budget, pianificazione strategica, nuove idee. La giornata scorre cadenzata dalle call. La sera Barbara e Massimiliano si affacciano dal pontile (anche loro remote worker che vivono in barca) e ci chiedono se vogliamo fare un aperitivo. Perché no? Andiamo nel bar della marina e un aperitivo diventa subito cena. E che cena! Racconti di vita, di progetti, di lavoro. Siamo colleghi, quindi scambi di grande valore :) Domani che si fa? Ryan Short took us out on a boat, we caught a yellow fin tuna and here we are later 6 months later, onboard our Grady-White 257 Fisherman. We come from a history of using boat but with not real fishing capabilities and this boat is a dedicated fishing boat! What sold me was the incredible sea ride.
