This is your chance 👀 Our Boatbuilding Experience Days are hands-on, immersive, and seriously good fun. ✨ What you’ll get stuck into: Steam bending oak to create a bent timber ring Fastening with traditional copper nail and rove Making a mobile phone stand using dovetail joinery Trying your hand at caulking Learning some classic knots and making a keyring to take home Plus… a guided tour of our boatyard! 🕤 Time: 09:30 – approx. 16:30 🍽 Lunch: Fish & chips provided (vegetarian/vegan options available) ☕ Tea & coffee available all day 👥 Who’s it for? We adopted Basil a few months ago. As far as anyone knows, he never had a home until now. He was fed as a stray in Kamloops last winter and had an injured leg. He was trapped and taken to the local shelter. Somehow he then made his way down to Vancouver where we met him at the local SPCA and brought him to his new home, W. Grebe. He is settling in just fine to life on the water. You see plenty more of Basil in future episodes. #BeLikeBasil #sailingcats #boatcat
