When the seas make navigation difficult and fatigue causes confusion, we search for beacons of light to help guide our way. We welcome these beacons of light as they bring us comfort and remind us that all will be well. They allow us to reset our course. When we put them abeam, we slow down and make a Moment in Time to remind ourselves of all those that have gone before us and all those that will follow behind. We've had a last minute cancellation for the Lemsteraak trip in Holland in June. It's for the bunk cabin with 2 berths. Let us know if you can come along. These weeks are a fantastic introduction to European canal cruising as well as exploring the lovely Frisian Islands. Your cabin awaits! Join us for a week of sailing aboard a traditional Dutch "Lemsteraak" to explore the shallow seas of the Frisian Islands and travel inland via the Dutch Canals. Depending on whether we will be able to visit 3 or 4 of the lovely Frisian Islands. In this area it's important to take tides and currents into consideration so we will go over tidal calculations and methods.
