When the seas make navigation difficult and fatigue causes confusion, we search for beacons of light to help guide our way. We welcome these beacons of light as they bring us comfort and remind us that all will be well. They allow us to reset our course. When we put them abeam, we slow down and make a Moment in Time to remind ourselves of all those that have gone before us and all those that will follow behind. Il viaggio prosegue, oggi più lentamente, verso la Martinica. Il vento è leggermente sceso, di conseguenza anche il mare e l’avanzamento sono calati. Punti positivi: possiamo pescare. Punti negativi: sta finendo la marmellata e ogni giorno perso è una colazione rovinata. Ormai siamo insieme da più di un mese. Era il 29 dicembre quando partivamo da Cadice. Vi ricordate? Che sbarbatelli che erano i ragazzi. Adesso viaggio insieme a 5 orsi grigi dai lineamenti vagamente antropomorfici. Si scherza. A parte tutto, ci stiamo abituando a navigare in 6 e pensare di tornare ai ritmi serrati della navigazione in due mi stanca. Il lavoro procede bene. Tutto va bene. Mancano un po’ gli affetti, ma quelli ci leggono e ci stanno vicini da casa ❤️ C.

Trip took 5 days, 22 hours. Spent 1 day in doldrums watching phosphorescent micro organisms lighting up around our boat and the dolphins swimming alongside. Also saw brilliant meteor shower, flying fish and flying eels. Westerly 36 Corsair S/V Natalie
