To watch the full video: https://youtu.be/SsSqmDeiW0g We are Duca and Roberta, a Brazilian couple that during a sabbatical trip in 2016 decided to follow our dream. So, we created "Odd Life Crafting", a project composed of many smaller projects that we call seasons. The first one was the creation of Odd Life Crafting. The idea was to build a metal boat to be able to travel the world taking our house with us, but we didn't have money for that. So, we started the next season: we built a tiny shipping container house with no prior experience in building to gain some skills to build a boat. When we were almost finished we found a boat 700km away from our hometown that was neglected for over 22 years and we spent 2 years refitting her (Season 3). The last season has been a dream coming true… we are exploring the Brazilian coast with OUR BOAT that we called Odd.. But wait? What happened to the house? Check out our website to know more about it https://www.oddlifecrafting.com/blog We hope to inspire others to follow their dreams. SUBSCRIBE to our channel and join us every SUNDAY for a new episode of our journey!! #sailboat #tinyhouse #boat
At the bottom mark, Katana took a penalty — a tough moment in a tight race. But here's the reality: sailing at this level is about resilience. Sometimes you get the call wrong. Sometimes the break doesn't go your way. And that's okay. What matters is how you respond, grow, and move forward as a team. That's why we share it all here — the good, the bad, and the ugly. Because every mistake is part of the journey, and is a chance to come back stronger. Ever had a call you wish you could take back on the racecourse? Night vision cameras are great on boats, but they cost an arm and a leg. So we were psyched to discover the Iris Night Runner, an all new infra-red camera, at the Fort Lauderdale boat Show. The Night Runner is a dual-payload camera, with both an infra-red imaging core and an integrated video camera in the same housing. You just flick a switch to go back and forth between the two images. Want to see the difference first-hand? We gave it a go, in this First Look Video. http://features.boats.com/boat-content/2013/12/iris-night-vision-first-look-video For more marine electronics videos, visit www.boats.com.
