Am 22.03.2025 haben wir ein beach clean up in Eckerförde gemacht. Organisiert wurde es von der Captain Paul Watson Foundation. Nach nicht einmal 2 h haben wir 130kg Müll am Strand gesammelt. Lohnt sich also. Schöner wäre es natürlich gewesen, wenn wir gar nichts gefunden hätten. Mir als Segler liegen das Meer, die Fauna sehr am Herzen und ich freue mich, mit Gleichgesinnten einen Beitrag beizutragen unsere "Spielwiese" ein wenig sauberer zu halten. Vielleicht sehen wir uns irgendwann, irgendwo um gemeinsam Meeresschutz zu betreiben. Ich würde mich freuen. Tie it in the centre of a line when you need a loop and you can't easily get to either end. 🔸 It makes a good hoist if you have to lower or raise someone, with one loop the seat and the other under the armpits and around the chest. The loops should not slip and it shouldn't jam after strain. 🔸 With a doubled up rope, make a small overhand loop as you would in a Bowline.
