Am 22.03.2025 haben wir ein beach clean up in Eckerförde gemacht. Organisiert wurde es von der Captain Paul Watson Foundation. Nach nicht einmal 2 h haben wir 130kg Müll am Strand gesammelt. Lohnt sich also. Schöner wäre es natürlich gewesen, wenn wir gar nichts gefunden hätten. Mir als Segler liegen das Meer, die Fauna sehr am Herzen und ich freue mich, mit Gleichgesinnten einen Beitrag beizutragen unsere "Spielwiese" ein wenig sauberer zu halten. Vielleicht sehen wir uns irgendwann, irgendwo um gemeinsam Meeresschutz zu betreiben. Ich würde mich freuen. Almost a total rebuild and restoration and thoroughly modern systems make SWANILDA a very usable classic. Indeed, following her 2010-2012 reconstruction her design and condition now should allow ocean passages as well as summer #cruises and #classic races. A recent topsides repaint and mast and spars refinishing at Elephant #boatyard leaves this very English lady looking very smart.
