Am 22.03.2025 haben wir ein beach clean up in Eckerförde gemacht. Organisiert wurde es von der Captain Paul Watson Foundation. Nach nicht einmal 2 h haben wir 130kg Müll am Strand gesammelt. Lohnt sich also. Schöner wäre es natürlich gewesen, wenn wir gar nichts gefunden hätten. Mir als Segler liegen das Meer, die Fauna sehr am Herzen und ich freue mich, mit Gleichgesinnten einen Beitrag beizutragen unsere "Spielwiese" ein wenig sauberer zu halten. Vielleicht sehen wir uns irgendwann, irgendwo um gemeinsam Meeresschutz zu betreiben. Ich würde mich freuen. hello! It has been a rough few weeks onboard with working through all of the possible routes and weather windows to sail through the Bahamas during what is supposed to be a very active hurricane season. We would have been rushing through and that just seemed silly. So, we’ve come to the difficult decision that it safest for us to sail north until early fall before making our way back south.
