After 1 year and 4 months in the boatyard, 4 trips to the urgent care center, roughly 300 trips to west marine, a couple emotional breakdowns, and countless mistakes, we're finally wrapping up our messy projects and moving to a marina where we can finish our refit! Next stage: Desiree will be focusing on sewing projects and Jordan will be focusing on the rig. We'll both be working part time as Captain and First Mate until November to continue to finance the refit. We'll also start to get in as many shake down cruises as possible once we get that rig up!

After kindly being gifted a cook book by a Trinidadian vendor at the Central Market in Port of Spain I've been practicing cooking different local dishes. It's a style of cooking that's jam packed with spices and fresh ingredients that pack a punch in terms of flavour!
