The aft cabin is one of the biggest spaces on Vela, but we still see so much potential to optimize! Hereâs what weâre planning: đ ïž Extra Storage: Weâre building cabinets on each side of the bed and adding shelves inside the hanging lockersâbecause you can never have too much storage for clothes and gear on a boat. đĄ Desk Transformation: That âmake-up tableâ (seriously, who uses it?) is getting a makeover! Weâre turning it into a retractable desk with shelves aboveâperfect for working or planning our next adventures. đŹïž Ventilating Cupboard Doors: On our nice-to-have list are ventilating doors for better airflow and to prevent condensationâpractical and pretty. đ§ Watermaker Plans: Weâre considering fitting the membranes for our watermaker under the bed, making good use of otherwise empty space.
