Two years on Hi. ⛵️ Two years that challenged us, stretched us, and opened us up in ways we didn’t expect. It’s been beautiful. And hard. And completely worth it. Some days felt like two weeks. Others like five years. We’ve had unforgettable highs – and some very real lows. One of the biggest lessons? This life triggers everything. Our perfectionism. Our need for control. Our idea of “how things should be.” And that doesn’t make it easier – but it makes it honest. It shows us who we really are. And what we’re ready to let go of. We’ve fixed things, broken things, tried things, and left things behind. We’ve learned. We’ve grown. And our love? It’s deeper than ever – even when it’s messy. Are we fully there yet? Maybe. Maybe not.But we’re a whole lot closer to ourselves than when we started. And most days, we stop, take a deep breath, and say:“This life... it’s not a given. It’s a gift.” Two years. One boat. One ever-evolving, imperfect, beautiful us. Thanks to everyone who has been with us on the journey so far! ❤️ #boatlife #sailing #liveaboard #sailinglife #sailingcouple #patandfrankie #sailingboat

🪢 Sunday Boat Tip [3/52] 🪢 Living on a boat means having a very endless space to store things. And the games we bought from Sweden have long since been played til boredom! So when we recently started to learn how to play Backgammon (actually on the plane to Trinidad) we started looking for a board that we could bring onboard. But our game box is full, and we didn’t really find anything good. So I started to browse the App Store and found an app that does everything that we wished for; we can play against each other offline, the pieces don’t roll away if there is a sudden wave and the dice can’t end up in the ocean… Win-Win!!! Have you tried any old school games in a digital form? What do you think about it, yay or nay 👍🏻👎🏻? And most importantly, do you have any other games that we can play like this that we can add to our digital collection?! We need to stock up! Please comment below to help us out 🤗
Fidelis is a boat with a stellar and sound provenance. Her story is well documented through several books and many articles. Her sparkling race record began in New Zealand, and then as the line honours winner of the Sydney to Hobart yacht race in 1966. The race winning performance continues to this day with harbour sailing, another five completed S2H races, many trips to Lord Howe Island, and races to the Solomon Islands, Tasmania, Queensland and NZ. Although her race record is important she is a very stable and safe ocean sailing yacht. She remains a "Greyhound" but is equally at home in cruising mode and is an easily handled vessel!
